OK, I actually got busy today. I cleaned my workbench, dug out my pillars (2 of the 5) and sanded and painted them.  Actual progress!!!  It's been a while since I've done any Halloween work.  I planned on skinning my pillars in foam, but the 1" thickness makes it difficult (the face would be thicker than the top trim) and I'd need to spend about $50 more on foam which I don't want to do.  So, I will be painting them instead.  We'll see how it turns out.  I'm going to try and do most of the detail work with the airbrush (which I've just barely learned to use).  I'm not sure how well it will work out, but I'm willing to try it. 

I also re-wrote my "to do" list.  Of course the list is the easy part.  It's so difficult after a hard day at work to get the energy to "work" more.  I know I'm whining but oh well.  This bloody heat seems to be dropping a little, so I'm hopeful.  I hope everyone is up and running.
