Wow it's almost October!!

Ok...looks like I'm really bad at updating this sucker. 

Well I finished building the sections of my fence yesterday, just need to use some wood filler in some cracked areas.  Also need to reinforce some sections.  Was hoping to test out how I'll put it in the ground today, but it is very rainy out, so maybe tomorrow.  I'll post some pics of the progress.  Probably a shot of it unpainted in the ground when I test it and then painted.

I've spent WAY too much money on Halloween this year.  I'm going to pull out all my receipts and add up what I've spent.  I've also taken pics of my inventory gotta take a few more pics and I will post here tomorrow.  I'll just do a thumbnail sort of thing on here.

No further adieu

Well I finally have my site up.  It's a HUGE improvement over my old one which I haven't even seen since I learned HTML and the fancy stuff.  I was able to track it down and if anyone wants to see it I may post it, we'll see what the demand is  LOL.  There are some pics there.  The new site has no pics yet, gotta scan lots of pics.  Well no more delaying here's the new site.

My Site

First off playing around with some things on here gradually.  I'm enjoying reading peoples blogs.  There are so many to read. 

Well I am going to try to start up my Halloween site again.  I had one years ago that was crap, before I knew HTML or Flash or anything.  Maybe I'll post a link to it just so you can see how funny it is. 

--Ok interruption here watching Angel, the one where Fred presents her Physics publication thing and finds out it's the professor she had that put her into Pylea.  Well anyways she mentioned another love of mine the Cubs, she mentioned Sammy Sosa (who was still with them at the time) and Nomar Garciaparra (now with the Cubs).  It just made me smile, love when 2 things I love come together.

Back the the topic....I'm working on my Flash site for Halloween.  I just have to scan all my old photos for it.  That'll be a while in it self.  Maybe I'll just put up what I have.  That's a thought.

Update on ecard

Well today I worked on my ecard somemore.  Made a portrait for one of the rooms of a guy from the 1800's (Jean-Baptiste DeMars).   I looked at his pic and recreated it in Photoshop.  He has no eyes here because those I added in Flash.

I think I will be adding pics of my Halloween collection that's in my room, it's small, but I have a lot of other things in my room as well.  Halloween does have a nice section on my dresser shelf at the very top though.

I still have yet to start on the fence I am building this year.  The kids just walk onto the lawn even though I had the "Do not cross" tape around the lawn.  Hopefully this fence will work out for me.  I really should start it.  It's all made out of wood and it has to be primed and painted black and then I will take silver paint and spray on in areas and dab with crumpled newspaper to get a rustic effect.

Paid to do Halloween stuff

I'm loving my job right now.   I was paid to work on Halloween stuff today.  I produced some images for our site that are Halloween products (http://www.ltdcommodities.com/home/catalog/cat_thumbnails.asp?g=214&p=1) and we also make ecards so I'm working on a Halloween ecard.

It's a really cool ecard.  I'm making all the graphics/images myself, just drawing them out on the computer.  Anyways, it's a haunted house and things flash in the windows and you can then enter the front door.  From there you will see the enterance way with stairs and a hallway.  You will have 3 choices, go to either side (left or right rooms) of the stairs or go upstairs.  Something will happen in each room, a ghost, spider crawling down, bats flying, etc.  It will be sort of a panaramic view so it looks like you are turning to go into the rooms or up the stairs.  Either you will be looking for your message, or just going around the house with the option to skip ahead to view the message.  I'll figure that out when the time comes.

While I was working on this today I had an idea for another ecard.  You will be a TOT and all you'll see is your TOTing bag in front of you and 3 homes.  You will get a choice of which home you want to go to.  One house no one will answer so you can throw eggs at the house.  Another house will be all decked out in Halloween and you'll get a ton of candy from them and the third house I'm not sure, any suggestions?
