I awoke to a nice cool breeze outside for a change!   It's only going to be 98 degrees today and I am so thrilled!  Compared to 107, I'll take 98 anyday.

So since it was cool, I took advantage.  I cleaned up my carport area in anticipation of our lumber being delivered tomorrow.  Yippee!

I got my two masks and corpse hands from Death Studios yesterday.  That inspired me to begin creation of my static dummies the masks and hands will be placed on.  For the forms, I'm placing foam padding on the PVC pipe to give it a more realistic look.  It's a lot more labor intensive than what I anticipated.  I even cut my finger a bit which let's me know...they're gonna be good props!  One will have on a yellow three piece PVC pipe suit for the Bio Chem Lab scene and the other is wearing Hodgman Waders w/gloves and cap (he will be standing in between bushes like a Hunter).  I hope to finish the Hunter today.

I watched two of my three blockbuster movies yesterday.  One was the second installment of Miss Congeniality.  I give it one talon up and that talon is for Regina King.  She was awesome!  She really changed her body for this role as a bad ass kickin' agent. 

The second movie was The Machinist.  And I give it two tallons up.  This was really a good movie.  If you have not seen it, I recommend it.

I'm about to take a Halloween break and watch my third movie, National Treasure.  I'll let you know what the tallons say later.
