IE Halloween ToolbarI started updating the IE Halloween Toolbar. There are a few new features that I intend on adding such as the ability to search multiple search engines/sites from the toolbar. A couple of other features I do not want to mention yet as I am still working out the bugs. Go ahead and install the IE Halloween Toolbar and it will automatically update once the new features are available.
3:26 PM - 4/28/2006Planning...planning...planningWell - it appears to be time to start up again! The weather is beautiful and perfect for working on some new props. All the messy details of my personal drama seem to be resolved and I'm living in a new place and working on a new life - it's so very full of possibilities! This year I hope to finish my plans from last year that I didn't get around to (see list) and go for some new things as well. Since I have a different yard and house - I'll be making some changes. It will be a lovely challenge. If you have any suggestions - feel free to post em! I'll be back soon - have a great spring weekend!1:44 PM - 4/21/2006BlogCrypt.com updateRecently updated blogcrypt.com with new and improved features such as:

2006 is going to be a great year! 10:09 AM - 2/10/2006Plans for 2006Well, since I've seen DeathTouch getting so much stuff done already I've decided to at least get some things into the planning stage. I have been inspired by some stuff I've seen him do and antoher haunter here in NH. We have a few somewhat major projects to get going on, new pirate ship area, new UFO, additional walls for the castle, the ever elusive "Pepper's Ghost" and a dragon prop to beat all dragon props this side of Universial Studios...
I have a good idea about most of these and I will start work on them as soon as I can, I will have to in order to actually have any for Halloween 2006. I will keep you all updated as to the progress, or lack there of...and will definaltey have photos as I go along... 2:40 PM - 2/8/2006Halloween 2005 photosFinally had a chance to get this done, only a couple months late....lol!
Our Pirates will be getting a new ship for next year, I hope.
The guy was hanging arounf deep in the woods...
We added a bridge over our stream this year, we may have spilled some bad stuff in there, not quite sure where the glow came from...
Our hall of doors, we had some surprises in and around these this year...
The graveyard out front, the Headless Horseman keeps an eye on the place...
The electric chair, this will get some upgrades for next year...
The "a frame" creature, he needs some real help for 2006, his eyes are about the only thing that'll stay the same...
Julia's Banshee, he kept our guests on the right path deep in the woods...
The Badseed, he'll go back to a "live" gag in 2006, he just stood there this year... 10:45 AM - 12/14/2005Halloween 2005 resultsI'm so late posting this but here goes. We had around 250 or so people come through our haunt over two nights, more or less the same as last year. We raised about $145.00 for breast cancer research, not much but it's better than nothing. We had a ton of people say they couldn't wait for us to run the haunt, said they'd been last year and will be back next year too. It's great to hear that people like what we're doing. We had a lot of help this year getting setup and running the haunt, that helped a ton! Wasn't nearly as crazy getting ready for guests as last year was, hopefully it's even easier next year.
We extended the haunted woods further into the back yard. The new path went out over a little stream that runs through our property. My cousin and I built a bridge over it and most guests loved it, some turned around and didn't go any further...LOL! We have a ton of plans for new gags for next year and have a few new people interested in helping out. With any amount of luck Fitzy's Fright Fest 4 will be bigger and badder...
I will post pictures very soon... 11:25 AM - 11/29/2005More pics
My Barfing Bucky fountain - sadly, I'd already disassembled it when I realized the pic hadn't come out - but you get the idea - an odd mauve colored liquid came out of his mouth and there was fog from dry ice in the punch! LOL
Below is my sis in her Annuhaphserat costume. This is a cat goddess character she made up for her gaming. She takes her costumes seriously, can ya tell? LOL
PICS REMOVED FOR BETTER VIEWING. lol
8:35 PM - 11/15/2005Party PicsAs promised - the party pics. Some didn't come out too well. This would be my model of your namesake HH! LOL Like him? LOL
AGAIN - I REMOVED THE PICS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO HUGE. I'LL DO BETTER NEXT TIME. lol
A few of the deocrations - sorry there aren't more. I'll add pics of some of the guests shortly. LOL 8:27 PM - 11/15/2005After the party's over...Okay, am I the only one suffering from postparty depression? LOL It's so sad to have to pack all the decorations away for a whole year! Then again - I have to remember that it's about time for me to pull out the Christmas decorations as well. So, this time of year I'm really just swapping out decorations for the rest of the year! LOL I host a cookie swap every year the first Sunday in December so I must have my decorations up and my cookies done by that time. Baking and cooking (I feed the ladies as well) all day on Saturday will certainly leave no time for decorating. So that must be done even earlier. We have Thanksgiving dinner at our house each year so I usually have the tree up and at least the lights on it for Thanksgiving. I generally have my garlands all up as well. Sssshhhhhhh - don't tell anyone but, I love the upcoming holidays even more than Halloween! Keep that close to the vest though, okay? If you're interested in hosting your own cookie swap and would like some ideas - just yell at me and I'll be happy to help out as best I can. Everybody have a great weekend and I promise - I'll post the pics soon. Really. LOL
Unpleasant dreams...
10:51 AM - 11/4/2005Enough of this...Well, I'm not sure about you guys, but I've looked at my mug quite enough for now! LOL I've tried my best and between family stuff and hurricanes - I haven't met my goals but will be working through the winter on some swell stuff for next year! I did get my fountain, fencing, and my batcave and good scarecrow gone bad action done this year. I'll get the rest done this week or this winter. I hope to have many more haunting years in me! LOL Again, I thank all those who've contributed your knowledge and encouragement! You're the best! I'll get some pics posted after the party - perhaps while I'm recouping on Sunday. LOL Not sure if I'll have any time to post again between now and then - but - we shall see.
Unpleasant dreams...
